Great News!
 We have Charley Hardison, medical missionary to a Creative Access Country, for Power-up on Saturday, September 18.  Mark your Calendar.  Some of you have him and his family as LINKS missionaries.  Some of you know him as the son of our own John Hardison from Long Beach.  Bring your congregation to hear him!  (Time and place to be announced)

Princess Prayer Card/Magnet
My church, Rancho Cucamonga Highland Avenue, has Princess as their LINKS missionary.  I have made the attached Prayer Card in Publisher (I laminate and make it into a magnet).  I also saved as a .jpg file  If you have her as a LINKS missionary feel free to use this.

Prayer Request
Pray for our Anaheim District NMI Work & Witness Team as they travel to Churchandpr, Manipur, India July 3 - July 17.  Pray for their safety, health, ministry, and growth in Christ.

Mission Corps Volunteer

Great Resource
Phyllis McCoy, Santa Ana 1st, reminded me of the great resources we have available online to us.  Here is the link for World Mission Broadcast resources http://www.nazarenemissions.org/10101/story.aspx  but you can also find sources for all offerings, deputation, biographies on missionaries, etc.  She used bulletin inserts and a skit.  If you haven't taken a World Broadcast Offering this summer you still have time.  Highland Avenue takes theirs in August since I promote my Summer Mission Education Program in June.

July Emphasis ??" Bible College & Seminary Offering
What does Bible College and Seminary Offering have to do with missions?  Irma and Maria lived in communist controlled Hungary.  They were raised Assembly of God.  They wanted to go to Bible College.  The communist closed all the Bible Colleges in Hungary. They applied all over Europe.  European Nazarene College was not only the only college to accept them but they provided them with financial aid.  After graduation, they wanted to give back.  They started the church of the Nazarene in Hungary.  They started printing Nazarene literature in Hungarian.  Their literature is not only used in the Hungarian Nazarene Churches but is also used by all public schools during Religious Release Times, is sent to the USA to supply Hungarian speaking congregations AND is now being used to reach the Hungarian speaking people of Romania for Christ.  What an investment!

• Our Children's District Offering this year is to go to finish the Seminary Chapel/Multipurpose Room in Chiclayo, Peru.  The building is named after her father,  A long time missionary.
• The Peru Peddlers are riding to raise money for this cause.
• Susan's son has a Power Point that he would love to bring to your church to promote the Peru Peddlers and this project.
• VBS offering should be going to this project.
• I personally think a "Bike-A-Thon" would be a great idea to get the kids involved. Please e-mail me and let me know how you are promoting this offering?  I will share it with others.
